Van Wyck Homestead Museum

Hailing from Holland, the Van Wyck family immigrated to the United States in the early 1700s and was a driving force in local independence efforts. The family served their new home in the Revolutionary War, the Civil War, and went on to hold prominent local and even national political positions. Fully restored to its original appearance, this site was visited by such famous leaders as George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, and many others during the Revolutionary War period of our nation’s early history.

Sarah Taylor Park

Located on Old Main Street, Sarah Taylor Park is a local public space that is the ideal place for any fun family day outdoors. This park has been designed to offer a variety of outdoor recreational activities, including jogging and walking track, picnic tables, soccer fields, fishing, children’s play area, and much more. Splashdown Beach

Splashdown Beach water park is the local place to be to fight off the summer heat. This area water park features a large selection of attractions to enjoy, from high-speed thrill rides, wave pool, children’s splash area, and multi-person water rides.
